My type design usually starts with a single idea, often something unexpected. One font began with a love for analog photography, another from the pattern of a fly swatter. I’m drawn to small, overlooked details and like to explore how they can shape letterforms. Inspiration comes as much from making as from looking. For me, designing type is a way of staying curious about the world.
